HINO TEAM SUGAWARA arrived in Moscow on July 1st to take part in the Silk Way Rally 2017. From July 8th thru July 22nd, as part of their real-world conditions summer training, the team will be starting off in Russia, traveling through Kazakhstan, and finishing in China. This will be the second time after last year’s event for the team to race the Silk Way Rally. The team sees this as its testing grounds for their upgraded truck’s performance, a venue for training their driver, navigator, and mechanics, as well as an opportunity where they can race against other formidable teams to improve their teamwork.

Under his steadfast leadership, SPAD had successfully developed and launched the National Land Public Transport Master Plan (NLPTMP) and the Greater Kuala Lumpur LPT Master Plan in 2013, which will guide the implementation of initiatives such as macro-level policies, strategies and plans, including major infrastructure investments and regulatory and policy changes for the next 20 years. It was also under his stewardship that various transformative measures for the industry were rolled out such as the Interim Stage Bus Support Fund, the Stage Bus Services Transformation, completion of the LRT Extension Project (LEP), rollout of the Phase 1 of MRT Line 1 and the Taxi Industry Transformation Programme.

MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MTBM) announced during the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2017 that it is introducing a new training program, MAN ProfiDrive that is tailored towards individual customer requirements.
